Job summary

Hunterdon Health in Flemington, NJ is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to administer evaluations and therapies according to established standards and the physician’s plan of care. This full-time role requires evaluating patients, planning treatment, documenting care, and maintaining scheduling to meet productivity targets.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s in OT and NJ OT licensure; a Master’s in OT and hand-therapy specialization (CHT) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current New Jersey State Occupational Therapy License is required.
• Master’s Degree in OT is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all patients identifying the patient’s primary problems and develops a treatment plan.
• Performs and modifies/updates patient treatment programs to maximize patient outcomes.
• Documents information to assure continuity of care and maximize reimbursement.
• Maintains schedule to attain productivity standards.
• Provides supervision to COTA, OT/COTA students, various levels of supportive personnel and volunteers.

• Knowledge gained from 2 or more years experience in hand therapy, CHT
