Job description

Position Title: Occupational Therapist for school-based services

Position Description: The Occupational Therapist will join the special education team to provide occupational therapy services to students determined eligible by their IEP Teams. This district-wide position requires travel between school buildings. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between buildings. The Occupational Therapist will conduct evaluations, provide consultation and deliver direct services to eligible students. The position also includes supervision of at least one certified occupational therapist assistant. Knowledge of MaineCare billing for school-based services and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are required.

This is a full-time, school-year position of 184 days, with the possibility of summer work. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.
