Job summary

NHC HomeCare Dickson is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. The OT supervises and participates in the implementation of occupational therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or diseases.

We are looking for a graduate of an accredited OT program who is licensed/registered in the state. Active member of state and national OT associations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduates must have completed an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Must be licensed/registered to practice OT in the state.
• Active membership in state and national OT associations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises Occupational Therapy services.
• Provides OT services as ordered by the referring physician and delegates appropriate portions of the treatment program to the licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Instructs the OT staff in delegated functions including precautions, progress goals and plan for re-evaluation.
• Evaluates, plans and supervises treatments with short-term and long-term goals as approved by the physician.

• Must be a graduate of an accredited course in occupational therapy as certified by the American Occupational Therapy Association.


• Must be licensed / registered under the statutes of the state in which the occupational therapist will be practicing.


• Active member of the State and National Occupational Therapy Associations preferred.

Position Highlights
