ProFlex Physical Therapy in Chantilly, VA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient team. You will evaluate patients, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and deliver direct care to help improve function, independence, and confidence.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in Virginia, or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and evidence-based treatment skills.
  • Commitment to individualized, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients to identify functional limitations, rehabilitation needs, and individual treatment goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy treatment plans.
  • Provide direct patient care using therapeutic activities, manual therapy, appropriate modalities, ADL retraining, and functional rehabilitation techniques.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, safety, and strategies to support continued progress outside the clinic.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other clinical team members to coordinate patient care.

Job description

ProFlex Physical Therapy, powered by Areté Health, is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

As our Occupational Therapist , you'll help patients improve function, independence, and confidence through individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy. What you'll want to know
  • Compensation: $82,500-$100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, plus applicable performance-based incentive opportunities . Eligible clinicians may also have access to up to $20,000 in personalized career investment support , which may be applied toward areas such as student loan repayment, advanced training, certifications, residency, relocation, or other professional development opportunities, subject to eligibility and program terms.
  • Schedule: Full-time, with scheduling flexibility based on clinic and team needs
  • Location: ProFlex Physical Therapy | Chantilly, VA | Onsite clinical position

What we're looking for

Required

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in Virginia, or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and evidence-based treatment skills
  • Commitment to individualized, patient-centered care

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an outpatient occupational therapy setting
  • Experience treating a variety of orthopedic or upper-extremity conditions
  • Interest in continuing education, clinical development, and collaborative patient care
