Job summary

Timber Springs Transitional Care in Boise, ID, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a full-time position within our in-house rehab program. You will join a stable therapy team dedicated to geriatric recovery and high-quality post-acute care.

Applicants must hold an OT license; new grads are welcome. This role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities for clinical and administrative growth within our CAPLICO values-driven team.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care; develop care plans per standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions in line with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Role involves standing and walking; lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of rehabilitation plan: manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, assistive devices, wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.

Timber Springs Transitional Care in Boise, ID, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a dedicated Full Time Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.
