Job summary

ServingSchools is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to support students in the Maine school system. The role focuses on providing targeted, evidence-based OT interventions to improve participation and performance within classroom activities.

Candidates must hold a Maine OT license and CHRC certification, and will collaborate with teachers and other service providers, participate in IEP meetings, and contribute to professional development sessions.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in Maine required.
• CHRC certification required.
• Ability to implement evidence-based OT interventions in school setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted evidence-based therapeutic OT interventions to facilitate participation and occupational performance within the school environment.
• Maintain required records, including daily therapy notes, evaluation reports, IEPs, progress reports, Maine Care records and other records.
• Assist in keeping files up to date.
• Complete assessments.
• Attend IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers and other service providers to assist in making modifications and accommodations in classroom activities to address student needs.
• Present and participate in professional development trainings.
