Job summary

Watch Me Shine in Bangor, ME is seeking a full-time, in-person Occupational Therapist to work with preschool-aged children. The role emphasizes client-centered assessment, development of care plans, and collaboration with teachers, clinicians, and families in a therapeutic and classroom setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, a current Maine OT license, and enjoys play-based, developmentally appropriate therapy.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current and valid OT License with the State of Maine
• Experience in childcare is preferred but not required
• No Travel Required

Responsibilities

• Provide client-centered assessment and services to preschool-aged children
• Develop Plans of Care and monitor goal progress
• Collaborate with client’s team including lead teachers, ed techs, clinicians, and caregivers
• Determine appropriate therapy materials to meet client goals and needs
• Organize and maintain therapy room and materials
• Train staff on best practices and techniques to support occupational therapy programming in the classroom
