Young World Physical Education in Augusta, Georgia is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide essential therapy services. The role requires evaluating students, managing adaptive equipment, and ensuring maximum independence in personal care and classroom activities.

Occupational Therapist
Richmond County (GA) Various Locations - Augusta, Georgia
Responsible for providing occupational therapy services to students, ensuring maximum independence in personal care and classroom activities, and managing adaptive equipment within the school system.
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy approved by the Georgia State Board.
Certification or Licensure: Current license in Occupational Therapy issued by the State of Georgia.
Skills: Knowledge of proper lifting techniques; pleasant personality, cooperative attitude, physical and stamina to perform essential duties; CPR and First Aid certificate preferred but training will be provided.
Work Experience: Two years of experience preferred but not required; experience with moderate/severe/profound students and students with Autism preferred.
This position is responsible for providing occupational therapy services per student needs.
Moderate noise level. Requires lifting or moving up to 25 pounds occasionally. Regularly required to talk, hear, walk, stand, and sit.
Must have available private transportation; moving instructional equipment and materials between sites daily.
