Job summary

PruittHealth in Georgia seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide evaluations, treatments, and care per individualized plans. You will document thoroughly and follow OT policies while prioritizing patient needs with sound judgment.

Qualifications

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice (Georgia).
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited program; eligible to take or has passed NBCOT exams.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments per the OT care plan.
• Complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow established policies and procedures related to OT scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care with sound judgment.
• Complete orientations and trainings successfully and timely.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized occupational therapy care plan
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgmentonal
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner
• Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited school and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exams (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). If foreign-trained, must meet the same qualifications as U.S. educational program requirements
