The team is located at both our Ypsilanti Health Center and our Domino's Farms locations. Hours may be possible at both location.We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with expertise in the evaluation and treatment of lymphedema. The preferred candidate will have outpatient experience managing lymphedema in patients with a variety of underlying conditions, including wounds, oncology, vascular and other lymphatic disorders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, are required.As an Occupational Therapist at Michigan Medicine, you will conduct patient evaluations and treatments for a variety of lymphedema diagnoses in outpatient clinic settings. Collaborating directly with patients and their families, you will create an individualized treatment plan based on a comprehensive evaluation of their current abilities and needs, as well as lifestyle and personal goals. Our Occupational Therapists who treat patients with lymphedema are nationally certified therapists who have specialized and advanced training in the evaluation and treatment of edema. Additionally, we are one of the few NLN Accredited Programs.
