Job summary
Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Physician specialized in Occupational Medicine to join our Bridgeport, CT site. This full-time role involves clinical care, supervising PAs and APRNs, and supporting site leadership.
The ideal candidate will hold board certification in internal medicine, emergency medicine, family practice, or occupational medicine, with experience in occupational medicine and urgent care. Willingness to travel to various Occ Med sites and participate in departmental activities.
Qualifications
- Board certification in internal medicine, emergency medicine, family practice, or occupational medicine.
- Experience in occupational medicine and urgent care.
- Valid CT medical license; board certification; DEA registration and CT Controlled Substances registration.
- Willingness to supervise PAs/APRs and participate in departmental activities.
Responsibilities
- Provides patient care services and assesses workplace injuries or illnesses.
- Supports the leadership team at the assigned work site.
- Supervises PAs and APRNs, resident physicians, and medical students.
- Maintains MRO/FMCSA certifications as required by Occ Health.
- Travels to client companies and works at multiple Occ Med sites as needed.
