CommonSpirit Health – St. Joseph Medical Group in Bryan/College Station, TX, seeks an Occupational Medicine Physician to expand our specialized network.

You will deliver focused occupational healthcare for about 20 patients daily and lead essential pre-employment, fit-for-duty, and DOT examinations. The role requires board-certification or eligibility, an active Texas license, DOT certification (or willingness to obtain), and strong communication with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Occupational Medicine.
• Active license or eligibility to practice in Texas.
• DOT Medical Examiner certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 20 patients per day for comprehensive occupational healthcare.
• Perform fit-for-duty evaluations, pre-employment physicals, and DOT examinations.
• Diagnose and manage work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Collaborate with employers and case managers; utilize EHR systems.
• Conduct surveillance exams (hazmat, asbestos, audiometry) and administer vaccinations.
