Jackson Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant Technician to support patient care in a physician practice setting. You will assist physicians with examinations, take histories, draw blood, and perform clerical tasks to keep the office running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 0–3 years of related experience preferred.
• CMA or RMA certification is preferred; BLS may be required at unit level.

Responsabilités

• Perform administrative duties: answering phones, scheduling, filing, and updating patient records.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Collect specimens, perform basic lab tests, and draw blood.
• Take patient histories, prepare exam rooms, and assist with post-operative care as needed.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are clean and stocked.
• Demonstrate service excellence and CARE values in daily work.
