Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Augusta, GA seeks a Board-Certified Occupational Medicine Physician for outpatient care. The role focuses on high-quality, compassionate care with a 40+ hour week and Mon–Fri schedule.

Expect 15–20 patients daily, with 2 clinic APPs for mid-level support and Agility EMR. Fellowship training is a plus; board eligibility or certification in Occupational Medicine or FM/IM is required.

Qualifications

• Outpatient practice with a 40+ hour work week, Monday through Friday.
• Average patients per day: 15–20.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an Occupational Medicine setting.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Occupational Medicine or Family/Internal Medicine.
• Fellowship training will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Manage the return-to-work process for patients.

Requirements

• Outpatient Practice working a 40+ hour work week Monday through Friday.
• Average patients per day 15 - 20
• 4.5-day work week
• 8:00am - 5:00pm M-Th and 8:00 am- 12:00 PM F
• Procedures include Diagnosing and treating work-related injuries and illnesses, and managing the return-to-work process.
• Mid-level support includes 2 clinic APPs and one worksite APP
• EMR is Agility
• Candidates need to be either Board Eligible or Board Certified in either Occupational Medicine or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with minimum 5 years' experience in an Occupational Medicine practice setting
• Candidates with Fellowship training will be considered
• American medical graduates as well as International medical graduates will be considered
