Job summary

Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center seeks a health analyst to support worker health protection through hazard anticipation, exposure assessment, and risk analysis.

The role involves translating complex health data into actionable guidance for employees, leadership, and technical teams. You will participate in occupational surveillance, environmental health risk assessments, and collaborate with clinical, environmental, and biomedical engineering teams to inform program-level risk mitigation

Qualifications

• Experience with surveillance or monitoring activities in health programs.
• Ability to collect, organize, and interpret environmental or health data.
• Ability to develop or deliver health education or training materials.

Responsibilities

• Support protection of worker health via hazard anticipation and risk analysis.
• Provide data analysis for datasets including epidemiological data to find associations.
• Assist in evaluating effectiveness of controls through monitoring and audits.
• Translate health, exposure, and risk information into actionable guidance for staff and leadership.
• Participate in occupational surveillance on disease trends, exposure reduction, and environmental risks.
• Collaborate with clinical, environmental, and engineering teams to inform risk mitigation.
