Job summary

Denis Development is seeking a dedicated Employee Health Physician Assistant to staff its outpatient occupational health clinic. The PA will perform pre-employment physicals, medical clearances, and vaccine administration while reviewing tests and patient history to ensure safe return-to-work clearance.

The role requires NY State PA licensure, NCCPA certification, and excellent documentation skills. A fast-paced, bilingual (English/Spanish) candidate is a plus for this 1099, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Active NYS Physician Assistant license
• NCCPA certification current
• Malpractice insurance current or ability to obtain
• BLS certification preferred
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Fast-paced outpatient experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-employment and annual physical examinations.
• Conduct occupational health evaluations and medical clearances.
• Review medical history, vital signs, labs, immunizations, and tests.
• Evaluate TB testing, MMR titers, drug screens, and other required tests.
• Determine need for additional documentation or clearance.
• Complete required medical forms and documentation.
• Educate patients on follow-up care as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Support efficient patient flow in the office.
