Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice or via eNLC.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts new hire health screenings and annual employee health screenings, including health history and vaccines.
• Educates employees prior to annual vaccinations and documents vaccination records.
• Investigates post-exposure incidents and provides appropriate follow-up.
• Maintains confidentiality of employee, patient, and department information.
• Plans and conducts annual flu vaccine program.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, CDC, and other regulatory agencies.
• Develops and maintains Employee Health policies and procedures.
• Refers employee illness/injury visits to appropriate departments for evaluation.
