UPS is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to oversee its occupational health programs, serve as a health consultant, and manage health-related initiatives for employees, management, and external providers in Dallas.
The role includes program oversight, DOT exam compliance, injury/illness claims management, health education, and vendor coordination; typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.
The Occupational Health Nurse has responsibility for oversight of UPS occupational health programs and other health-related issues. The OHN functions as a health consultant and program manager, working with UPS management, employees, outside medical providers, community resources and other vendors. Job responsibilities/knowledge areas include, but are not limited to; Department of Transportation Examination Compliance, Controlled Substance Testing, Management of Work Related Injury/Illness Claims, Health Education/Wellness Programs, and Medical Provider Management.
