Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for BestHealth for Business to provide direct patient care at occupational health clinics across the NC Triad. The role includes scheduling, coordinating diagnostic procedures, and teaching students while working under physician supervision.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited NP/PA program (NP must be FNP-C) and NC licensure; BLS/ACLS. Travel within NC Triad area, day shifts, no weekends.

Qualificações

• Graduation from an accredited NP/PA program; NP must be FNP-C.
• Licensed by the NC Board of Nursing or NC Medical Board of Examiners.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Current American Heart Assoc. BLS and/or ACLS.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care, assessment, documentation, treatment and education.
• Perform complex diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and prescribe care.
• Coordinate schedules for labs/diagnostics and explain procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing per policy and regulations.
• Supervise/support team; monitor patient progress and consult when needed.
• Plan work distribution and ensure adequate staffing and space.
• Participate in departmental projects as requested.
• Teach students/residents/interns in advanced techniques.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work.
