Job summary

Rockingham County, NH is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Employee Health Services to provide occupational health care to county employees and contractors in an ambulatory setting.

The NP will perform pre-employment exams, medical surveillance, immunizations, injury and illness management, and coordinate care with Workers' Compensation and health providers, while maintaining confidential records.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN) and NP program.
• Three to five years of Occupational Health experience.
• Current APRN license and NH licensure.
• National Board Certification.
• Occupational Health certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-employment examinations and medical surveillance.
• Provide direct care including health examinations, medications, immunizations, and treatment of work-related injuries.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop plans of care, and monitor outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records and participate in Quality Improvement/QAPI initiatives.
