Job summary
Favorite Healthcare Staffing Inc. is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner for an occupational health role in Lima, OH supporting construction sites.
The NP will provide primary occupational health services, assess and treat work-related injuries, conduct pre-employment exams, manage drug testing, and collaborate with physicians, HR and safety staff to maintain a safe, healthy workplace.
Full benefits and flexible shifts are available, with options for full-time or part-time schedules.
Qualifications
- 1 year of NP experience or more.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active Ohio NP license (or eligibility for licensure).
- DEA license.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat work-related illnesses and injuries.
- Provide first aid, order diagnostics, prescribe medications as appropriate, and coordinate follow-up care.
- Perform pre-employment physicals and health screenings.
- Manage workers' compensation cases and return-to-work evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, FMLA and other occupational health regs.
- Develop and support employee wellness and injury prevention initiatives.
- Respond to workplace medical emergencies and provide medical guidance.
- Collaborate with physicians, HR, safety personnel and leadership to promote a safe work environment.
