Job summary

Harvard University is seeking an Occupational Health Informatics Specialist to serve as the primary liaison between IT partners and Harvard Occupational Health Services, ensuring health applications and data systems support clinical and operational needs.

You will manage data entry standards, generate reports, maintain electronic health records, lead training, and drive change across OHS and affiliated departments in a fast-paced academic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in healthcare, occupational health, informatics, or related setting.
• Experience with data management, data entry standards, and maintaining electronic health records.
• Experience generating operational and clinical reports using BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between IT and Harvard OHS to align health applications with workflows.
• Troubleshoot system issues; conduct root cause analysis with IT and vendors.
• Lead change management for new or updated systems and workflows.
• Develop and maintain reports to support clinical care, operations, and leadership decisions.
• Provide front-line training and support to clinicians and staff on system use.
• Configure user access and maintain data security and privacy.
• Document and update SOPs related to informatics and data management.
