Job summary

Mortgage Bankers Field Services is seeking independent contractor inspectors to visit properties in designated zip codes across multiple states. Inspectors use their own vehicles and schedule, submit results via the EZ Inspections app, and are paid per inspection.

The role requires a reliable smartphone, a vehicle, and the ability to pass a background check. Part-time opportunities are available with a twice-monthly ACH pay schedule.

Qualifications

• Must own a mobile phone (iPhone or Android) with camera.
• Able to use EZ Inspections app to input results.
• Reliable desktop or laptop and printer with high-speed internet.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties in assigned zip codes.
• Communicate promptly if inspections cannot be done by due date.
• Complete inspections to client expectations and safety standards.
• Stay current with inspection requirements and safety rules.
• Return and redo inspections if incomplete.
• Schedule inspections during daylight hours.
• Maintain a professional appearance.

Company Overview

Mortgage Bankers Field Services is a property inspection company serving the real estate, mortgage and insurance industries. We provide our clients timely and accurate information regarding real estate occupancy status and property condition. We are able to provide property updates by hiring contractors/inspectors in numerous states to deliver these updates. Our inspectors are independent contractors: they set their own schedules, use their own vehicles, inspect for other companies and complete their inspections on time and without our direction. No inspection license is required. Inspectors must be highly‑organized, self‑motivated individuals who visit and take photos of properties and input results using an industry phone app. Each inspector services a set of zip codes or territories they agree to cover and is paid a fee for each inspection completed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties for the company in specific zip codes
• Timely communicate with the company if inspections cannot be done by the due date
• Complete inspections to client expectations
• Stay current with inspection requirements
• Return and redo inspections if incomplete
• Schedule inspections to be completed during daylight hours
• Behave professionally while inspecting
• Follow town, county, and state safety requirements
• Maintain a professional appearance
