Paycom - ATS is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join outpatient therapy services in Alabama. You will provide patient care and document within insurance guidelines, applying critical thinking to carry out planned interventions.

New graduates are welcome; experienced outpatient therapists are preferred. Candidates should have OTA program credentials, Alabama license, strong communication, interpersonal skills, and basic computer literacy to support compliant care delivery

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program and licensed in Alabama.
• New graduates accepted; outpatient therapy assistant experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and basic computer literacy; knowledge of regulatory requirements.

• Perform patient care and complete documentation in a timely manner within insurance guidelines.
• Assure patient charges and productivity reports are performed accurately and timely.
• Demonstrate critical thinking in carrying out the plan of care and promote patient safety and quality.

Job Summary:Perform patient care and complete documentation in a timely manner and within insurance guidelines.Demonstrate critical thinking skills and reasoning processes in carrying out the plan of care (i.e., appropriate decision-making skills).Assure patient charges and productivity reports are performed accurately and in a timely (daily) manner.Demonstrate organizational time management by completing work in a timely manner, utilizing available staff and resources, and not incurring any unapproved overtime.Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.Education:Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program and currently licensed in the state of Alabama.Experience:New graduate accepted; experienced outpatient therapy assistant preferred.Additional Skills/Abilities:Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have basic computer skills. Must have strong interpersonal skills. Must have knowledge of the regulatory requirements at the state, federal, and local level.
