Yelp is seeking a regional Community Manager for OC South, working remotely from home or anywhere in your metro with WiFi. You will lead local events, build partnerships with businesses, and engage the Yelp Elite Squad to showcase the city’s best spots.

You will also curate local collections for the Local Yelp newsletter and manage the regional social media presence, including Canva visuals and video editing, while representing Yelp’s values.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional experience in event planning, social media management, and/or marketing.
• Local OC South expert, with knowledge of local businesses and venues.
• Willing to connect with business owners to foster collaborations on behalf of Yelp.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Autonomous with ability to manage own schedule.
• Creative with ability to work with freedom.
• Ability to lift 10 pounds.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Be the face of Yelp in your region by attending local events and building connections with local business owners.
• Conceptualize, plan, and execute Yelp events in your region.
• Forge mutually beneficial partnerships with local businesses to sponsor events.
• Support Yelp Elite squad by engaging with their content and keeping them updated.
• Research and curate local business collections for the Local Yelp newsletter.
• Build relationships with local organizations to grow reach.
• Manage day-to-day regional Instagram presence, including copywriting and visual assets via Canva and video editing.
