West Coast University is seeking a Nursing Faculty member dedicated to guiding nursing students toward impactful patient care careers. You will teach, mentor, and support students, contributing to curriculum development and program assessment.

The role emphasizes scholarly activity and professional growth within our student-centered, innovative community. You will utilize our Simulation and Innovation Labs and collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality learning experiences and outcomes

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in specialty field and professional nurse licensure.
• Clinical RN with at least two years’ direct patient care in the last five years.

Responsabilités

• Mentor, role model and provide academic support for students.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and learning processes.
• Apply teaching skills to the assigned schedule and curriculum.
• Contribute to assessment activities and continuous improvement of courses and programs.
• Improve class materials and syllabi within governance processes and use varied teaching methods.
• Maintain scholarly activities and professional growth.
• Support student success and leverage innovative technologies, such as Simulation and Innovation Labs.
• In clinical settings, assume responsibility for students and ensure safety and preparation.
