Job summary

West Coast University is seeking a Nursing Faculty member to guide nursing students and advance clinical teaching within a student-centered, innovative community.

You will mentor students, deliver engaging instruction, collaborate on course and curriculum assessment, and participate in scholarly activity while leveraging our Simulation and Innovation Labs to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with state licensure and a minimum two years of direct patient care.
• At least one year of teaching or clinical instruction experience in nursing.
• Master’s degree in nursing required.
• Education and licensure must align with state regulations.
• Ability to contribute to curriculum development and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as mentor and facilitator for nursing students.
• Deliver instructional content according to the teaching schedule.
• Participate in course and curriculum assessment and continuous improvement.
• Improve course materials and syllabi within shared governance.
• Utilize diverse teaching methodologies to achieve learning outcomes.
• Supervise students in clinical facilities and ensure patient safety.
• Provide timely feedback on performance and outcomes.
