OBGYN Hospitalist Opening in Virginia

Location: Norton, VA - near Kingsport (45 minutes), Abingdon (50 minutes)

Position: Full-time, permanent OB/GYN Hospitalist role within Women’s Health program

Details: Anticipated over 300 deliveries this year

Opportunity Highlights:

5. Schedule: 15 shifts per month

Well-established practice serving over 60,000 residents in Wise, Lee, and surrounding counties. Deliveries are for 35 weeks and above; high-risk cases are transferred to Johnson City Campus.

Community Hospital is a 129-bed facility that has recently expanded its surgery department and offers a broad range of services including OB/GYN, surgery, pulmonary, critical care, and rehabilitation. The $13.1 million 2016 Health-Plex expansion added new outpatient and wellness facilities, outpatient rehab, and more, serving a population of 75,000-100,000 in SW Virginia and SE Kentucky. The practice offers a guaranteed base salary with potential for RVU-based productivity bonuses.
