Medicorp, Inc. in North Carolina is seeking two BC/BE OB/GYN physicians to join an established service line on a hospital campus just south of Raleigh-Durham.

The position offers a balanced mix of obstetrics and gynecology, with a focus on growing a comprehensive GYN practice and mentoring nursing midwives. The practice is part of a multi-specialty group with strong hospital support and a robust primary care base.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Experience mentoring and supervising midwives and mid-levels.
• Willingness to participate in call schedule.
• Interest in growing a comprehensive GYN practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide traditional OB/GYN hospital role with a 50/50 OB/GYN split.
• Mentor and supervise nursing midwives and mid-level staff.
• Rotate on-call duties and share call coverage.
• Support growth of the service line on the hospital campus.

North Carolina – OBGYN

Client is seeking an additional BC/BE OBGYN physicians to help rebuild an established service line. They are hiring 2 full time physicians to join their team and expand their service line. The opportunity offers a good mix of OB and GYN, with an opportunity to really expand and grow a GYN practice.

The practice is part of a strong multi-specialty group with a robust primary care base. There is significant community need and strong hospital support. Call will be shared equally, and their midwives take first call during the weekends. During the week, the physicians rotate primary call. They are equipped with a Level II NICU. The practice will be on the hospital campus and will offer competitive compensation and benefits. They are due south of the expanding Raleigh/Durham Research Triangle area, near Apex and Cary and the renowned golf courses of Pinehurst.

• Traditional OBGYN hospital role, 50/50 split for OB/GYN
• Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm with 1 weekend a month coverage schedule
• Looking for mid-career OBGYN or at a minimum 1+ year experience, must be interested in mentoring and supervising nursing mid-wives and mid-levels
• 10 days of call, looking to transition into a 1:3, LOCUM providers are in place to provide healthy work/life balance
