Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Job with OhioHealth in Athens, OH

Join OhioHealth as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician in Athens, Ohio. This hospital-employed position offers the opportunity to work with experienced laborists managing the labor and delivery unit 24/7, with physicians attending deliveries as needed. The role provides minimal interruptions to your office, surgical, or personal time, while serving a high-volume, loyal patient base.

  • Located near OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital
  • Supportive team environment with experienced physicians, midlevels, and staff
  • Call schedule: 1:5, including gynecology call and optional delivery attendance
  • Support from two CNMs handling initial OB visits and routine prenatal care
  • High surgical volume from the start
  • One-on-one surgical assistance from a skilled PA for major and minor procedures
  • Comprehensive services including medical addiction therapy and social support through family navigators
