Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a board certified/eligible OB/GYN to join our team in Akron, Ohio. You will become part of Summa Health Medical Group, a large multi-specialty group with a strong NICU and teaching component.

The opportunity offers a competitive compensation package, signing bonus, education loan assistance, relocation and CME allowance, with a balanced schedule including in-office days and a 24-hour call shift. Epic EMR is used across the system.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Unrestricted Ohio medical licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Willingness to work in Akron and surrounding communities; comfortable teaching residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care to patients within the Summa Health system.
• Teach and supervise residents as part of an academic appointment.
• Collaborate with a large, multidisciplinary team and participate in a patient-centered, team-based practice.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. The system had 5000+ deliveries in 2025, all of which occurred at the state-of-the-art Women's Center on Akron Campus. Our team of experts is committed to providing comprehensive women's health services for our community.
