Summa Health in Akron, Ohio seeks a board certified/eligible OB/GYN to join Summa Health Medical Group. The selected candidate will join a multi-specialty group of nearly 700 providers, with 5,000+ deliveries in 2025 performed at the Women’s Center on the Akron Campus.

The system is one of the region’s largest integrated health networks. The position offers competitive compensation and incentives including signing bonus, education loan assistance, relocation, and CME allowance.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Unrestricted Ohio licensure or willing to obtain.
• Willingness to work in Akron and surrounding communities.
• Comfortable teaching and working with residents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to quality, patient-centered, team-based care.

Responsabilités

• Provide OB/GYN care in a high-volume system.
• Teach and supervise residents within the department.
• Collaborate with NICU and Women’s Center teams.
• Participate in academic activities with NEOMED.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient education.

Summa Health is seeking a board certified/eligible OB/GYN to join our team. The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. The system had 5000+ deliveries in 2025, all of which occurred at the state-of-the-art Women's Center on Akron Campus. Our team of experts is committed to providing comprehensive women's health services for our community.
