Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL seeks an exceptional obstetrician/gynecologist to join a local private practice. The role includes delivering direct clinical care, teaching UCF residents and medical students, and performing major and minor gynecologic surgeries.

The incoming physician will participate in the OB Hospitalist Program, share in-house call duties with a maximum of four days per month, and enjoy a strong support system within a collaborative academic/private

Qualifications

• Deliver direct clinical care and instruct UCF residents and medical students.
• Administer obstetrical and gynecologic care to medically complex patients.
• Practice in residency and private practice settings; perform major and minor gynecologic surgeries.
• Share in-house call duties with a maximum of 4 days per month; post-call days off.
• Back-up call system with residents assisting attending physicians.
• Board eligible or board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
• OB Hospitalist Program in place.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking an exceptional OBGYN to join a local private practice in Gainesville, Florida

Qualified Candidates:

• Responsibilities include delivering direct clinical care and providing instruction to UCF residents and medical students.

• Candidates should feel confident in administering a wide range of obstetrical and gynecologic care to medically complex patients.

• As a valued member of a dedicated team, you will practice as an obstetrician/gynecologist at NFH, attend to patients in both residency and private practice settings, and perform major and minor gynecologic surgeries.

• You will also share in-house call duties, with no more than 4 days per month and post-call days off.

• A back-up call system is in place to support on-call physicians, with residents available to assist attending physicians.

• The incoming physician should be board eligible or board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.

• HCA Florida North Florida Hospital has an established OB Hospitalist Program.
