Summa Health is seeking a board certified/eligible OB/GYN to join the Summa Health Medical Group in Akron, Ohio. The selected physician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, collaborate with a large team, and participate in resident education within a well-established academic environment.

The Akron Campus offers Level III NICU care and extensive midlevel support, with Epic EMR integration and a strong emphasis on quality, patient-centered care and work/life balance.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. The system had 5000+ deliveries in 2025, all of which occurred at the state-of-the-art Women's Center on Akron Campus. Our team of experts is committed to providing comprehensive women's health services for our community.

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain
• Willingness to work in Akron and surrounding communities
• Must be comfortable teaching and working with residents
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment
