Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) physician for locum tenens coverage in Rock Hill, South Carolina, about 25 miles south of Charlotte. Start date ASAP with in-house call coverage and a call-only schedule.

Inpatient obstetrics and gynecology practice settings, managing low- and high-risk pregnancies, deliveries, and gynecologic surgery. Credentialing is expected within ~90 days with expedited processing; Cerner EMR is used.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• Active South Carolina medical license is required at submission.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• In-house call coverage; call only.
• Provide obstetrics and gynecology care in an inpatient setting.
• Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and related Gynecologic surgeries.

This facility is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: In-house call coverage; call only.

Practice Setting: Inpatient obstetrics and gynecology.

Types of Cases: Low- and high-risk pregnancies, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, breech and multiple births, pregnancy complications, and major gynecologic surgery.

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days; Will expedited credentialing

Electronic Medical Record: Cerner.

Certifications Required: Board Certified and Basic Life Support.

Licensure Required: Active South Carolina medical license required at submission.
