Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for locum tenens support in Washington. Start ASAP, with regular hours 8:00 am to 4:45 pm and on-call duties. The position involves inpatient and outpatient care, labor and delivery management, and gynecology support in ER.

Credentialing is expected within 60 days. EPIC is the EMR used. The contractor will typically receive malpractice insurance through AMN and competitive compensation reflecting locum work in the region.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in obstetrics/gynecology.
• Washington State medical license is required.
• Current BLS certification and DEA registration are required.
• Experience with labor and delivery, inpatient and outpatient care.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery patients.
• Handle Level 1 nursery cases and assist with gynecology cases in the emergency room.
• Provide care for 18–24 patients per day.
• Work onsite in Washington with credentialing within ~60 days.
