Wilson Medical Center is assisting a private practice in Wilson, NC to recruit an OB/GYN to join an established, independent group. The practice currently has 3 OB/GYNs and 2 midwives with 1 office location.

Deliveries and gynecologic surgeries take place at Wilson Medical Center, which offers da Vinci robotic systems. Compensation includes a guaranteed $320k first-year salary, $30k signing bonus, $30k retention bonus, $625 per call shift, $15k relocation, and $30k student loan repayment

Responsibilities

• Join an established private practice with 3 OB/GYN physicians and 2 midwives
• Deliveries and GYN surgeries performed at Wilson Medical Center with da Vinci robotic system
• 1 call day per week and 1 weekend coverage per month
• About 15-18 deliveries per month
• 4 weeks of vacation to start

Wilson Medical Center is assisting a local private practice with sourcing a an OBGYN. This opportunity is to join an independent practice.

The practice team is currently 3 OB/GYN physicians, 2 midwives and a great support staff. There is 1 office location in Wilson and the hospital where the physicians do their deliveries and GYN surgical procedures is Wilson Medical Center. This practice has been serving women in the Wilson and surrounding areas for over 30 years and they built up an excellent reputation for patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced physician to join a private practice in a small, family friendly city or for a resident physician to join a group that is committed to top notch patient care and to providing them with mentorship and support.

Position Highlights:

• Practice currently has 3 OB/GYN physicians and 2 midwives, recruiting a 4th physician.
• Midwives take first call during week and weekend call.
• Established practice that has built up a strong patient base and provide excellent women's healthcare for more than 30 years
• Wilson Medical Center provides the da Vinci robotic system for GYN surgical procedures
• Daily clinic patient census: 25-30 daily with in office procedures.
• 1 call day per week and 1 weekend coverage per month
• 15-18 deliveries per month
• 4 weeks of vacation to start
