Job summary

All Star Healthcare Solutions in New Mexico is seeking an OB/GYN locum to cover a busy facility. The assignment starts 01/01/2027 and is ongoing, with a focus on clinic and 24-hour call coverage in a hospital setting.

Expect approximately 40 deliveries per month, with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekend on-call. Shifts range 10–20 per month, with 0 guaranteed hours per day, and travel and housing are paid. Board-certified NM license and BLS are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic and 24-hour call coverage as scheduled.

Assignment Details

• Schedule Type: Clinic and Call
• Call Type: 24-Hour Beeper Call
• Schedule: Monday-Friday + Weekend Call
• Minimum Shifts Required: 10-20 shifts per month
• Guaranteed Hours Per Day: 0
• Hours Worked for OT to Apply: 0
• Low-volume work site, and volume is expected to decrease further

Additional Details

• The site is ideally seeking one provider to fill all 20 shifts but will consider two providers to split coverage at 10 shifts each.
• Monday-Friday (except Friday afternoons):
  • Clinic: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
  • Friday afternoons: No clinic
• Providers will be on 24-hour call from 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM daily throughout the week.
• Providers are expected to remain on call during clinic hours.
• The hospital averages approximately 40 deliveries per month.
• Providers will work independently, so experience and comfort practicing independently are important.
