Job summary

TAG MedStaffing is seeking an Obstetrician Gynecologist (OB/GYN) in Jacksonville, FL to provide full-scope obstetrics, gynecology, surgical care, and preventive health services across outpatient and hospital settings.

The ideal candidate will have an MD or DO, state licensure, ABOG certification, and extensive OB/GYN residency training, with experience in labor and delivery, minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries, and EMR usage.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Active or eligible state medical license required.
• Board Certification/Board Eligible in OB/GYN (ABOG) required.
• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program required.
• Experience providing full-scope OB/GYN care including obstetric and gynecologic surgery.
• Experience with EMR systems; robotic-assisted platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and high-risk pregnancy care.
• Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions and provide preventive care.
• Perform gynecologic surgeries, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures.
• Manage an established patient panel and deliver evidence-based care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to mentorship and clinical leadership initiatives.
• Participate in call responsibilities, including labor and delivery coverage.

TAG MedStaffing is hiring an Obstetrician Gynecologist (OB/GYN) in Jacksonville, FL for our client, supporting comprehensive women's healthcare services including obstetrics, gynecology, surgical care, and preventive health services. This opportunity will provide full-scope OB/GYN care across outpatient and hospital settings while collaborating with advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary clinical teams. Responsibilities as the Obstetrician Gynecologist:

• Obstetric Care: Provide comprehensive prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and high-risk pregnancy care for patients throughout the reproductive lifecycle.
• Gynecologic Services: Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions while providing preventive care, annual examinations, and women's health consultations.
• Surgical Procedures: Perform gynecologic surgeries and procedures, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures when applicable.
• Patient Management: Manage an established patient panel while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Clinical Leadership: Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support teams while contributing to mentorship and clinical excellence initiatives.
• Call Coverage: Participate in call responsibilities, including labor and delivery coverage and after-hours patient care as required.

Qualifications for the Obstetrician Gynecologist:

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree is required.
• Licensure: Active or eligible state medical license is required.
• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) is required.
• Experience: Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program is required.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience providing full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care, including surgical procedures and labor and delivery coverage, is required.
• Technical Skills: Experience utilizing electronic medical record systems is required, and familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical platforms is preferred.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills with an entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care are required.
