Qualifications

• Evidence of currency in obstetric nursing and ability to teach theory and clinical practice.
• BRN approval or equivalent qualification required to practice in California.
• Ability to develop and evaluate curriculum and coordinate clinical rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in obstetric nursing theory and clinical practice.
• Maintain currency in the obstetric nursing field.
• Work in clinical settings two days per week with required lecture hours.
• Utilize simulation techniques for obstetric scenarios.
• Manage 15 CAH hours of lecture, clinical, and student contact time.
• Collaborate with clinical facilities to establish rotations and assess student outcomes.
