The nocturnist is a critical part of our group practice model and assists with perinatal safety at the birth center. The nocturnist will support all established obstetrical practices with care of their inpatients and other related admissions including unregistered or walk-in patients. They will also work in conjunction with other team members as need arises including maternal fetal medicine, laborists, nurse midwives, gynecology, family medicine, and advanced practice providers.

Nocturnists will be on duty for an average of 3 evenings/nights per week, comprised of 14-hour shifts, and work as a team to provide continuous coverage.
