Job summary

The Yale School of Medicine's Department of Anesthesiology is seeking an Assistant or Associate level Anesthesiologist to join our team in the OB Anesthesia Division. Faculty provide state-of-the-art obstetrical anesthesia services and participate in education for residents and fellows.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Must pass USMLE or COMLEX licensing exams.
• Completion of a 4-year anesthesiology residency is required.
• Fellowship in pediatric, cardiac, obstetric, or pain medicine is common but optional.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative evaluations and formulate anesthetic plans.
• Deliver intraoperative anesthesia and monitor patients’ vital signs.
• Oversee postoperative recovery in PACU/ICU and ensure smooth transitions.
