Job summary

The candidate should hold a Florida RN license with BLS, and be prepared to mentor staff and uphold regulatory standards while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas; NRP for NICU.
• No prior work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop/revise an individualized care plan.
• Coordinate care with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Serve as patient/family advocate and role model for staff.
• Mentor, charge nurse, or unit educator as needed.
• Maintain awareness of patients' age-specific needs and safety.
