Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: None. Previous nursing experience preferred.
• Certifications: AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, RN - NJ required/through orientation.
• TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications or obtained within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care to patients through the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Assures patient safety by following policies and procedures.
• Participates in discharge planning and patient education.
• Contributes to Joint Commission readiness and performance improvement activities.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
