Job summary

SpaceX in Memphis, TN is hiring a Software Engineer for Observability (Supercompute). You will design and operate production systems, build dashboards, and develop predictive alerting to keep supercompute centers reliable and efficient.

You will work closely with operators, data engineers, and facilities teams to turn telemetry into actionable insights, enabling higher GPU uptime and faster incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with observability, telemetry, or real-time analytics systems.
• Experience with HPC/supercomputing environments.
• Familiarity with cloud or on-prem infra and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate multi-service production systems for reliability and monitoring.
• Develop frontend visualizations and dashboards for real-time operator views.
• Create predictive alerting and site-wide risk assessments.
• Collaborate with users to rapidly incorporate feedback and improve GPU uptime.
