Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Observability Engineer to design and operate production telemetry systems for ground and cloud nodes. You will build developer SDKs for metrics, logging, and tracing and create real-time data pipelines that connect environments to core Observability systems.

You’ll work across cloud-connected and airgapped environments, collaborating with Robotics Data Foundation and Fleet Management to ensure observability primitives are supported in both products.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating a robust observability plane across distributed environments.
• Proficiency in building developer-facing SDKs and tooling for metrics, logging and tracing.
• Strong collaboration with engineering teams and internal customers to continuously improve systems.
• Experience enabling incident investigation and data-driven engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate Anduril’s production observability plane across ground and cloud nodes.
• Develop SDKs and tooling for metrics, logging, and tracing across services.
• Build real-time data pipelines connecting environments with core Observability systems.
• Support cloud-connected and off-line/airgapped environments with seamless transitions.
• Collaborate with Robotics Data Foundation & Fleet Management to ensure observability primitives are available across products.
