Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking an Observability Engineer to design, deploy, and operationalize enterprise observability in a federal healthcare environment, with hybrid work in Fairfax, VA. You will implement Elastic Stack, Kibana dashboards, APM, and SLO/SLI workflows, and work with security teams to improve telemetry and incident response.

The role requires hands-on Kibana dashboard development, time-series metrics, distributed tracing, and cloud-based observability across AWS GovCloud.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining Elastic Observability in federal environments.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, telemetry analytics, metrics, and distributed tracing.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Elastic Observability across DoD/DISA environments.
• Develop native Kibana dashboards, visualizations, and reporting workflows.
• Instrument APM for multiple stacks and implement anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams on telemetry normalization and SLO/SLI workflows.
• Create executive dashboards and operational reporting for stakeholders.
