Job summary

Raas Infotek is seeking an OBIEE Expert with strong experience in RPD modeling, design of start and snowflake schemas, and in-depth knowledge of OBIEE components. Candidates should have extensive SQL Server query experience and familiarity with ETL tools such as SSIS.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 6-10 years of relevant experience, with emphasis on performance tuning, data modeling, and ability to work independently or in teams within a dynamic BI environment.

Job description

• Experience in OBIEE RPD modeling, designing start/snowflake schemas
• OBIEE Expert with a thorough understanding of OBIEE architecture and the role of different OBIEE components like Analytic Server, Web Server, RPD, Web Catalog, Security, Dashboards, Reports, iBots and Scheduler
• Experience in writing and profiling complex PL/SQL queries and fetch appropriate data from huge data sets efficiently (SQL Server)
• Experience in OBIEE Features (i.e. Cache, Usage tracking, Dimensional hierarchy, Variables/Initialization Blocks configuration etc.), converting Snow-Flake Schema to Star Schema, Dim Hierarchies, Dim Extensions, and Physical & Logical Data Modeling.
• Possess good communication, interpersonal skills, an ability to quickly grasp new concepts- both technical and business related. Flexible and experienced to work independently or in a team environment.
• Knowledge and Experience in Performance tuning.
• Basic knowledge in ETL tools (Preferably SSIS).

Education/Experience : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and 6-10 years of relevant experience.
