Job summary

Novant Health Deep River is seeking an OBGYN Sonographer to join our team in Kernersville, NC. This part-time role (24 hours/week) involves Monday–Thursday scheduling with potential travel to the High Point location as needed.

The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound in an OBGYN setting, obtain high-quality images, and provide compassionate patient care while adhering to imaging protocols and safety standards. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ARDMS or ARRT registry required; if not registered, eligible within 12 months of hire.
• One year experience in Sonography preferred.
• ARRT RT(S) or ARDMS certified or Board eligible required.
• ARDMS certified within first year of employment required.
• Ability to complete competency testing and have good communication skills.
• Able to work independently in diagnostic rooms and adapt to patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in an OBGYN setting.
• Obtain high-quality images to assist providers with diagnosis and treatment.
• Provide compassionate, professional care to patients throughout the ultrasound experience.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow imaging protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care.
• Follow safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
