Lunera Health in Northern Virginia is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee daily operations of a medical practice, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient administration.

This role blends clinical insight with management, leading nursing and clinical support staff, coordinating patient services, and implementing policies to improve performance while maintaining regulatory and financial targets.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in outpatient/ambulatory care.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role within a healthcare environment.
• Experience with EHR systems and healthcare IT implementations.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise clinical support, nursing, and administrative staff to maintain high standards of patient care.
• Manage daily operations including scheduling, resource allocation, and patient flow to maximize efficiency.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that comply with healthcare regulations and promote best practices.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control to keep targets.
• Coordinate with physicians, APPs, and other professionals to facilitate collaborative care.
• Monitor quality metrics and patient satisfaction to identify improvements.
• Handle recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare laws and accreditation standards.
• Serve as liaison between the practice, patients, insurers and external vendors.
• Lead initiatives to implement new technologies and EHR systems to enhance efficiency.
